Trigon Volcano III – optional micro-processor controlled battery
supply for Trigon phono stages Vanguard I and Vanguard II.
The Volcano III is a logical upgrade for all Trigon Vanguard I
and Vanguard II phono stages that does not require any technical
modifications – the upgrade can be installed by the user in a
few moments. The Volcano III is simply inserted between Vanguard
II and its power supply, using the original cable to connect to
the outboard power supply and the cable included with the
Volcano III to connect to the phono stage.
Please note: For use of the Volcano III in conjunction with a
Vanguard I phono stage, a new outboard power supply and adapter
cable are required, available from your Trigon dealer. The
original Vanguard I wallwart adapter is not compatible with the
Volcano III.
The premium Vanguard-style chassis made from anodized aluminum
and powder coated steel with optional nextel coating contains a
complement of long life lead-gel batteries. Reliability and ease
of operation are guaranteed by a micro-processor that monitors
and controls the charge. A single switch on the front-plate
allows to toggle between operation modes indicated by
color-coded status LEDs. The Volcano III can be operated in
combined battery-mains or in mains-only mode, by-passing the
internal batteries. In the combined battery-mains mode, the
lead-gel batteries are used in parallel to the AC supply to
deliver stable and quiet power to the phono pre-amplifier. For
best sonic results, we recommend to operate the Volcano III in
the combined mode while listening to music, effectively
minimizing the influence of all potential AC disturbances on the
sound, with the internal batteries complementing and stabilizing
the current supply from the power grid.
This combination allows the Vanguard I and Vanguard II phono
stages to unfold their full musical potential.

remote-controlled Trigon audio components. The Director
meets the high standards of optical, tactile and operating
logic that characterize Trigon audio components. The
aluminum housing, milled from solid material, takes up the
shape of the Trigon front panels. Balanced in terms of
weight, the Director lies well in the hand. The system of
pre-selection of the type of device to be controlled (CD
player, amplifier, etc.) reduces the number of function
keys, which still allow all functions to be controlled. The
concomitant clear arrangement of the function keys and the
large key spacing are further essential features of the
user-friendly, high-quality design. Transparent plastic
lenses attached to the underside of the Director protect all
surfaces on which the system remote
control is placed.
It goes without saying that the Director's control program
is updateable and can be adapted to new or further
developments of Trigon audio components at any time. Their
longevity and value retention therefore also applies to the
one-off investment in the system remote control Director.

TRIGON Director Premium
Trigon Director Premium - the system remote control with the
control pad for all remote-controlled Trigon audio
components of the premium series. The Director Premium meets
the high demands on visual appearance, Haptics and operating
logic that distinguish Trigon audio components. The aluminum
housing, milled from solid material, takes up the shape of
the Trigon front panels. Well balanced in terms of weight,
the Director Premium fits comfortably in the hand. The
system of the pre-selection of the type of device to be
controlled (amplifier, chronolog, etc.) reduces the number
of Function keys that still allow the control of all
functions. The concomitant clear arrangement of the function
keys and the large key spacing are further essential
features of the user-friendly, high-quality design.
Transparent plastic lenses attached to the underside of the
Director Premium protect all surfaces on which the system
remote control is placed.
Of course, the Director Premium control program can be
updated at any time and can be adapted to new or further

Volt
Trigon Volt – the optimized power cord for Trigon audio
components:
No power, no music playback. No good power supply, no good
sound. In order to ensure that the high technical and
constructive effort required for authentic music
reproduction, which distinguishes Trigon audio components,
is not lacking a decisive prerequisite, the volt - with the
exception of the (accumulator-powered) phono preamplifiers -
is supplied as standard and free of charge. This pure copper
power cable, which is perfectly tuned to Trigon audio
components, has a cross section of 3 x 2.5 mm² and
guarantees a largely lossless power supply for the connected
devices. The visually attractive blue shimmering foil
shielding, which is visible through the transparent sheath
of the volt, keeps harmful interference to the sound away.
The Trigon Volt is available in any desired length. It
guarantees that the connected audio components can also
realize their sound potential. |
